Face-lift

I just gave some pillows a face lift. It was my 1st time to sew in a zipper. I was super excited that I was able to figure out to make it seamless too. I completed 3 in total one Saturday afternoon.

Circus Theme Party

I threw a Circus party for my daughter. This is theme is so much fun to do. I had a photobooth and it was equip with fun props. I built a sweet shoppe for the candy bar - with the help of my husband. ;) I made my daughters outfit as a Ringmaster and her mini top hat. It was adorable! The invites we're little Circus tents.

Bye-Bye Pre-school

My older daughter is going off to kindergarten in August and she wanted to make a card for her teachers. I can't tell you how much she has learned in the short amount of time. Within 4 weeks of being at school she knew how to write her first and last name. :) It has been the best move I've ever made for her to continue to grow. Thank you to Ms. Daphne and Ms. April for everything.

Disney Princess Blanket

The girls love Disney Princesses. Who doesn't? :) I sewed up the edges and personalized these little blankets that are stroller size so it's easy to pack and won't drag on the ground. I learned from the last trip that I need to pack lightly and aviod shopping in Disneyland. I will let you know if they're a hit on the trip.

Minnie Mouse

We're on our way to 2nd annual Disneyland trip in November and I have been trying to get some of the things I want to bring ready. First, is a shirt that is personalized. So they can feel apart of the mickey mouse club. ;) I love how it turned out. I purchased a new sewing machine and I'm in love with what it can do. I used my cricut to cut out the mickey mouse head and added the ribbon to embellish it. I need to work on the stitch a little to get it just right but I quickly found out that circles are difficult to do. :) I will post a couple of other things that I'm testing out soon.

Picture Frame

I love this picture. The girls are too cute to not post. My god-daughters are twin and this was our first trip to the snow.

I came a across this layout that I did a for my daughter. I love that I have a place to capture the 1day she was born and the day that she turns 1 year.
